  37. As the creator of that object, I can vouch for the fact that it is a cordless
  38. phone and not a cellular phone (can't afford one of those yet!).  I modelled
  39. it just because it was there next to my Amiga.  Actually, the name was
  40. "cordless_phone" but it got shortened for the CDRom (for the benefit of the
  41. PC lw'ers the CD uses the least common denominator of CD rom formats which
  42. does not allow long names).

  44. This is a hobby for me, and I am sure if someone were paying for my work
  45. I wouldn't be able to do such a detailed job.  It took way too many hours, but
  46. I had fun doing it.  While we are on the subject, can anyone tell me if there
  47. is a particular part of the CG market where longer modelling times for greater
  48. detail and realism are desireable?  I am just trying to get an idea if the
  49. kind of modelling I've been practicing on is at all practical once I turn this
  50. hobby into a business...
